
Since it is the yield of one growing season, I received a package of some "Sansai", edible wild plant that my friend has picked.
I was a bit freaked out when I saw the shape.
BUT when I made TEMPURA out of it, it tasted really good.
This TEMPURA "Sansai", is one of the special and often cooked meal during this time of the season in Japan.
友達が採りたての山菜を色々送ってくれました。
山菜って、形がなかなかエグいのでお料理ちょっと逃げ腰気味になりつつ、
天ぷらにしてみたら美味しくて
苦味を楽しめると 大人な気分になりますね
